BIBD recently reinforces its commitment to Brunei’s future by empowering young innovators through the BIBD Sustainability Youth Leadership Awards.
Four youth groups – Brumi Lestari, Green Space, Purrfectly Green, and Green Pearls – received $3,000 each for their innovative solutions to environmental challenges.
These teams will collaborate with government and private partners to develop their ideas into viable business concepts.
Launched in 2023, the awards inspire young leaders to address pressing sustainability issues and align with BIBD’s commitment to environmental protection and social impact.
By nurturing young entrepreneurs, BIBD contributes to responsible business and innovation.
The awards is a collaborative effort involving the SDG Unit of Wawasan Office under the Prime Minister’s Office @sdg_brunei , the Youth Department of the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports @kkbs_brunei, Green Brunei @greenbrunei, and the Brunei Youth Council @majlisbeliabn
